Christy Swift is a stay-at-home mom of two girls and a freelance writer. She has volunteered as a doula for young and underprivileged mothers for the past three years, and has done hours of breastfeeding support and advocacy. She is also a member of the Consumers Supporting Midwifery Care, a group that promotes and protects midwifery care in the Ottawa area. A midwifery client herself, Christy has had two successful, natural homebirths and practices attachment parenting and extended breastfeeding.
